While promoting his absolute awesome new film DREDD 3D in Austin, Texas, US, Karl visited the local Radio Station 101X on September, 20, and talked with Deb and Jason about multiple topics, and also about Red 2.
Transcript:
Deb: I tell you, every time Red comes on at HBO I have to watch the whole thing, whatever portion of it is on. It's such a great film.
Karl: Yeah, I mean come one; John Malkovich, Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, it's insane.
Deb: Yeah, great cast.
Karl: And they're making another one now.
Deb: Are you in that one too?
Karl: Noooo, I'm not. *banging hand on the table*
Deb: Awwwwww~
Karl: Stink!
Deb: That ain't right.
At around San Diego Comic Con 2012 some months ago he mentioned he is trying to look out to be in the next Red 2 movie, but now it seems he will not revisit his role as William Cooper. Still, there is always the possibility of things changing and fans get surprised.
The next projects for Karl are still to hit some Dredd 3D promotion locations around the planet, the Voice-Overs for the Star Trek Game.
Look out to watch Dredd 3D at the moment it comes out in your country. And do not forget about The Loft 12/13, Chronicles of Riddick 2013 and Star Trek Into Darkness 2013. And we might also see a new New Zealand movie project. We hope and wish the best for Karl.
PS: PLEASE WATCH DREDD 3D!!!! It's just damn awesome on so many LEVELS!!!!

Realmente sería una mala noticia que Karl no haga Red 2, pero personalmente pienso que a veces algunas segundas partes es dificil que estén a la altura de las primeras, y también creo, que la primera parte ha ganado mucho gracias a la actuación de Karl a pesar del gran cartel de la pelicula.
Asi que cruzo los dedos por si hay cambios de última hora.
Ya solo nos queda esperar para ver "The Loft", película que por cierto promete y mucho, el nuevo Star Trek, el cameo que Karl hace en Rididick, y todo lo que venga después, ya sea en Nueva Zelanda o en cualquier otra parte.
Sus fans le deseamos todo lo mejor, y estamos con él en cualquier proyecto que emprenda.
It would be a bad news that Karl does not RED 2, but personally I think that sometimes some second parts is difficult to the height of the first, and I also believe, that first part has gained a lot thanks to the rol of Karl despite the large poster for the film.
I crossed fingers for if there are last minute changes.
Now we can only wait to see "The Loft", film by the way promises and much, the new Star Trek, the cameo that Karl made in Rididick, and whatever comes next, whether in New Zealand or anywhere else.
His fans wish him all the best, and we are with him in any project that undertaken. _________________

is so hard sad...
Let's hope he can fulfill his Rob Hall dreams.
